

Chris was born on June 2, 1992 in Othello to Juan Lopez and Tammy Dobbs. Chris was always very talented and played drums in the marching band at school. He graduated from Othello High School in 2010. After graduation Chris attended Columbia Basin Community College focusing on language arts specifically Japanese. Chris enjoyed Japanese Anime that led him to Japanese literature as well as studying Japanese culture. He went to work for McCain’s then Game stop and Starbucks. Chris was a musician; he played guitar, Bass and sang in his alternative rock band. In 2010 Chris began splitting his time between Othello and Moses Lake.
Chris was a poet, he wrote song lyrics as well as poetry. He was also an artist mainly anime art but he could draw whatever came into his mind. He boxed at an early age and was a 2 year champion in Junior Golden Gloves. He will be remembered by all as a caring free spirit with a big heart and a sensitive outlook.
Chris is survived by his parents Juan Lopez of Moses Lake and Tammy Dobbs of Othello, his sisters Monica and Jazmine and brother Kyle all of Othello His grandparents Hector and Elida Garza and José Guadalupe Lopez-Gonzalez of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
A visitation will be held on Friday January 18th at Stevens Funeral Chapel beginning at 2:00 until 7:00. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 19, at the Bethel Spanish Assembly of God on First Avenue in Othello.
