Andre Gabriel Skaff passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the age of 73 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Nawal Skaff. Loving father of Linda and Jaclyn (Robert Evans). Cherished grandfather of Sophie.
Dear brother of Elias Skaff, the late George Skaff (Houda), Samia Karam (the late George), Simon Skaff (Nayfe), Karimi Abou-Adily (Elias) of Lebanon, and his brother-in-law Ray Skaff (Debra Dinburg). He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews with whom he shared special relationships with.
Andre loved people, especially his immediate and extended family, and was always eager to help anyone, in any way that he could. He gave selflessly and happily to others without hesitation and without asking for anything in return. Andre’s love for his family was endless, particularly his wife, children, and grandchild.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of The Ottawa Hospital.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa on Wednesday, July 31 at 10:00am, followed by the funeral service at 11:30am. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
In memoriam, donations to the St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
