My condolences to Tomek and Marek as I knew them. I  use to live across the street when they were kids. My brother and I would babysit them . Best kids to babysit. Never saw some them once after all those times.  Easy money! 
Sorry to hear of  both their losses of Mr. And Mrs Sozanski. Greatest neighbour's. It was sad when they moved off our street .  I was aware of Mrs. Sozanski's passing but unaware of her talent as a portrait artist. Amazing work. Mr. Sozanski was a gentleman . Always nice to us. Nothing but good memories.

Sorry to hear of Andrew Sozanski's death. 

I have just by chance come across his name, and am conducting some research on an Mungret College, Limerick. On page, 187, of the Mungret Annual, 22 March 1946, Andre Sozanski arrived at Mungret College, a Jesuit-run day and boarding school, Limerick, Ireland. He is listed in the college annual, and he may appear in photographs, but by [1947], seems to have left Mungret for [Canada]. Any information on his time in Ireland would be much appreciated.

When I joined the federal government in the 1970s, Andy was one of my first mentors.  He was always there to guide and help as I learned the ropes.  His calm, fair and thoughtful approach was much appreciated; I owe him a great deal.  Over the years, we would chat on occasion at the NAC during soirées.  He was a good guy and will be well remembered.  My condolences to his family.

Andrew (Andrzej) and I met 75 years ago as we were smuggled out of Poland.  His father had asked my mother to bring him over to him as he was in the British-Polish army and Andrew was in a Krakow orphanage.  She got him and, with a group of people, we travelled in a truck driven by Wladek Kulesza, to leave illegally at Christmas time in 1945.  We were 11 years apart but he remembered me because I was 1 and a half and crying loudly as we reached the border.  The whole truck was terrified that the border guards would arrest us.  They didn't because Wladek fixed it, and Andrew laughed as I visited him in his house near Ottawa more than 65 years later.

My sincere regrets to his family.

Andzej had such incredible enduring friendships throughout his lifetime.  So many people loved him.  We have such wonderful memories of our families together.  Our sincere condolences to the whole family.

    Nie tu miejsce na rozwodzenie się co znaczy  strata Andrzeja. Jak daleko sięgała nasza przyjaźń i pokrewieństwo. Andrzej był tym kumplem, który towarzyszył mi   od zarania naszych wspólnych dni.

I first met Andy as a working colleague, and our relationship continued after we both retired.  I always considered Andy as a good friend.  He was a quiet man, very thoughtful, and his contributions were always constructive.  A man worth listening to!  We will miss him. 

In 50 years, I have listened to Andy, and learned from him and never had a thought to judge him or feel uncomfortable with him.  We will miss him; the world needs more like him.

To all the family, my sincere condolences.  Andrew went to join his friend, Antos (Tony). Our friendship covers many years.  The four of us (Andrew, Hania, Renia, Antos) spent so many wonderful holidays together visiting many exotic places in the world like: South America,  Brazil, and famous Igwazu Falls.  Many holidays in Cuba and luxury cruising. Remembering fantastic parties at their home, celebrating St. Andrew Day, always with all our Andrew name friends. Haniu, we have to wait our turn to jon them.
