Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Gabriela (nee Vargas). Loving father of Dina Strong (Terry), Gabriela, Eduardo, and Carlos (Rhonda). Much loved grandfather of Ian, Christopher, Jessica, Anthony, Amanda, Nico, Michael, Michaela, Austin, Cole and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Savannah and Kiera. Predeceased by his granddaughter Krystal and his brother Jonas. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion), on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Senhor Santo Cristo Church, 1100 Kenaston Street.
