Berthe Potvin Lacroix

(nee Potvin)

1923-2016

Called home by her Heavenly Father to her eternal rest at the age of 93. Mom passed away on August 8, 2016 at the CSLD Montfort with family by her bedside. She was the daughter of the late Albert Potvin and the late Valéda Régimbald she was the loving wife of the late Jean-Marie Lacroix and the cherished mother of the late Roger (Prathuang). She will be fondly remembered by her ever present daughter Denise (Bernard Beauchamp), her grandsons Luc and Yves (Rosa Carpinteiro) and great-grandchildren Eric, Brianna and Jacob. She leaves to mourn her loss, her sisters Jeannine Brennan (late John) and Nicole Larocque (Jean), her brother Albert Potvin (Claudette) and sisters-in-law Lorette Potvin (late Lucien), Claire Otvos Lacroix (late Vincent) and Florence Lacroix (late René). She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint-Louis-Marie-de-Montfort Church (749 Trojan Avenue, Ottawa). Condolences may be offered after the funeral mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers and in Memory of Berthe, a Mass Offering or a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Private interment to take place at St-Hughes Cemetery in Sarsfield.
