Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 93. Wife of the late Jerome Schmidt. Will be dearly missed by her daughter Lynn Grenon and son Allan (Nicky) and family friend Mary. Predeceased by infant daughter Diane. Much loved Nanny to her grandchildren Chris, Mark (Nancy) and great grandchildren Grace and Daniel. Sister of Julie. Predeceased by her sisters Simone, Jean, Betty, Aline and her brother Richard. Family and friends may visit at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, March 4, after 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Reception to follow. Interment St. Bernard Cemetery in the spring. In memoriam donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.
