Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on April 30, 2019 at CHEO Hospital the age of 16. Beloved son of Diane Robert and Denis Papineau. Cherished brother of Danika. Beloved grandson of Lucienne (the late Roger) Robert and Denise (Roger) Papineau. He also leaves his uncles and aunts: Jean (Anne), Guy (Nathalie), and Lise (Rick), his cousins: Alex (Jessica), Mathieu (Valérie), Henrie and Emilie, his best friend André and his extended family. He was predeceased by his aunt Suzanne. The family would like to thank the staff at Cheo Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Saint-Sébastien Church, 1000 Frances Street, Ottawa. In Memory of Daniel, donations to the Candlelighters childhood cancer support programs would be appreciated.
