David Mosey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Mosey who died peacefully at the age of 75 on March 9th, 2024 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with his beloved wife and soul mate Yolande Côté at his side. David was a loving father to Andrew (Jennifer), Stephen (Joycelin) and Anne-Marie (René). He was a kind grandfather to Reanna, Jacob, Matthias, and Paisley (granddaughter of the heart). He was a warm brother-in-law to Gerald Côté (the late Pauline), Marcel Côté (Claudette), Fernand Côté, Nicole Côté (the late Pierre Motard) and the late Jacinthe Côté. A caring godfather to Alexandre Villeneuve (Émilia). He also leaves in sorrow many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother Danny, his father Frank Mosey, and his mother Veronica McCormick.

David had a remarkable ability to find humor in the mundane and lift spirits with his swift wit and genuine smile. David was a real sports enthusiast. His passion for golfing was strong and was a soccer coach for a significant portion of his life. Additionally, he was a huge fan of baseball and football.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Queensway Carleton Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home. Family will receive condoleance starting at 1:30 p.m.
