Predeceased by her beloved parents, François-Xavier (ret. Major, RCOC) and Rita Bergeron and her sister, Claire Bergeron (the late Claude Chartrand); Denise will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 53 years, David, and her adoring children Michael Ross (Nathalie) and Julie Arcade (Jade), as well as her furry friend Fuzzy.
Denise also leaves in mourning her sister Pauline Bergeron (Richard Cannings), her brother-in-law, James Ross (Margaret Boyce), her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.
The family wishes to thank the 5th floor Palliative Care nurses and doctors at St. Vincent’s Hospital for their excellent care, dedication and compassion.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 20 2023 at 10am in the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica, 385 Sussex Drive, Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so, may make a donation in Denise’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ottawa Humane Society or the Ottawa Mission.
