Diane Léger (née Noël)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Evangeline Léger (née Noël) on December 20, 2025, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Ronaldo Noël and the late Gloria Cadieux.

She was the beloved wife of the late Oscar Léger. A loving mother to Suzanne (Glen Armstrong), André, and Joanne (René Vézina), she leaves in mourning not only her children, but also her grandchildren: Jessica (Jordan Schultz), Alexandre Vézina (Trisha Rafuse), Sara (Brad Gibson), and Chelsea Vézina, her great-grandchildren: Soleil Vézina, Evelyn Schultz, Faith Vézina, and Joy Gibson; as well her sister-in-law Raymonde (the late René Noël).

She is predeceased by: Florette (the late John Williamson), René Léger (the late Charlotte Massey), Rita (the late Aurel Albert Sr.), Thérèse (the late Arthur Albert), Edgar Léger (the late Rita Dubois), Leo Léger (the late Doreen Moylan), and Robert Léger (the late Marguerite Davis).

Diane will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family will greet visitors and accept condolences at noon, prior to the memorial service, which will be held in the presence of the ashes at the Funeral Home Racine, Robert et Gauthier, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, at 12:30 p.m. on January 31, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local food bank. Burial will take place at Saint-Paul Cemetery, Aylmer, in the spring.
