Dorothy W. Beaubien

Peacefully, in Ottawa at Gary J. Armstrong Home, surrounded by her husband Paul and son Lambert. Predeceased by her brother Arthur (Irene McKinley), her sister Irene (Emilien Beaudoin). She is survived by her daughter Constance (Mervyn Lougher-Goodey) son Conrad (Cynthia Riordon), son Lambert (Muriel Charbonneau). Loving grandmother of Derek, Heather, Julia, Aimée, Anna, Neil and predeceased by Sarah and great-grandmother of Luc Henri and Graeme. Fondly remembered by her surviving cousins in England, Joan Doré, Michael & Ira Young, Patricia Springett, Bettine & Rev. Norman Thorpe, Margret Wilson, and longtime friend Desmond Holder and numerous nieces and nephews and long time friends. We wish to thank her nurses and the kind supportive staff on the second floor at Gary J. Armstrong for her many years of wonderful care which made such a difference in her life. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
