He will be remembered and missed by his children: Ethna (Patrick Hartwick), Frances (Hal Kingston) and Douglas (Chantal), his grandchildren Ethna (Kombo Hassan), Ashley (Rebecca), Stephen (Becky), Christopher, Douglas and Dylan, and his great-grandchildren Serene Ellie and Joshua.
Doug was a long term Northern Electric /Nortel employee. Founding Member of Knights of Columbus St. Patrick’s Basilica Council 12158.
Predeceased by his parents Frederick William Edgar Ford and Helen Caroline Noble, and siblings Edgar, Helen Kostesku, Patricia Heusser.
Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. (at Albion Rd.)
Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 in St Patrick’s Basilica 220 Kent Street. Interment to follow at Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Patrick’s Basilica Music Ministry will be appreciated.
