On July 1st, 2012, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Cherished and loving husband -best friend of Patricia Mary (Pat) Lepine (Nee) Moran for 62 years. Predeceased by his loving mother Jeanne Leona Theriault (nee Lepine). Dearest father to Derek (MaryAnn MacEachern) and Deirdre “Dee” (Denis Roy), grand-father to Ryan Lepine (Kelly Peterson), Andrew Lepine, Heather Lepine (Travis Wing), Jennifer Roy (Josh Murdock), Stephen Roy and great-grandfather (Papa) to Norah and Sadie Lepine, Trenton Murdock and Reese Wing . Ernie was a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8008. He took on many duties and performed many hours of Volunteer work in his Church. Ernie found true joy in playing cards, bowling and made many friends during his lifetime. A quiet gentle man was he. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11.00 am on Thursday, July 5th, 2012 at Annunciation of the Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON with reception to follow in Church Hall. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr. Nepean, ON. In memory of Ernie, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
