Fouad Azzi

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:30pm, in his 94th year.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 75 years, Najla.

Loving father of eight children, Mayor Sami (Dunia), Samia ( George Jarbouh), George (Samia Monsour), Juliette ( Saade Azzi ) of Australia, Jannette (Elias Monsour), John - JP (Cheryl Davis), Genevieve ( George Lattouf) and General Joseph (Leila Chouaa).

Dear brother of late Elmaza (late Georges Monsour) of Canada , and late Hassiba (late Yousseff Azzi) of Lebanon.

He will be always remembered by his 30 grandchildren , 43 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; the Azzi, Jarbouh, Monsour, Davis, Lattouf and Chouaa families and many nephews & nieces.

Relatives and friends may pay respects on Monday May 18, 2015 from 6 pm to 9pm and on Tuesday May 19, 2015 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral home at 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa

Funeral service will be held on the Wednesday May 20, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Charbel Maronite Catholic Church – 245 Donald Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Charbel Church would be appreciated.
