It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Frances Rankin on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Lyall Rankin. Loving mother of Jerry, Brenda Gorton (Larry), Janice McIntosh (Robin), Greg and Ross (Deborah). Proud grandmother of Cameron, Jessica, Drew, Spencer, Jeremy, Victoria, Jocelyn, Jonathan, Casey, Taylor, Jake and Ian and great grandmother of Hayden. Loving sister of Audrey Phillips (Vernon). The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 9 am at St. Bernard`s Church, 1720 St. Bernard Road. Interment Hope Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Peter D.
