Born in Bradford, England, died peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyère Health Centre on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Margot Belec. Loving father of Kevin (Ann Gauthier), John, Michael (Debbie Brewster), Elizabeth (David Carlyle) and Moira O`Quinn. Dear grandfather of Christopher, David, Cassidy and Peyton Nelson, John, Michael and Brian O`Quinn, Andrew and Charlotte Carlyle. Predeceased by his parents Gerard Nelson and Sarah Varey. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
