Passed away on April 29, 2015, at the Civic Hospital, at the age of 68. Son of the late Thomas Lavoy and the late Annette Bertrand. He leaves in sorrow his beloved wife Muriel Stimpson of 48 years; his loving children Sandra (Jack Laroche), Lynn (Ron) Desjardins, Louise (Francine Kirouac) and Stephen (Kelly). Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Trevor, Christine, Zachary, Ross, Jessica, Chanelle, Brianna and Claire. He also leaves his brothers and sister Maurice (Mireille), Anne (Gino), Daniel (Nicole) and Robert, as well as many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank Monique Taillefer for her dedication. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:30 at Divine Infant Church (6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans).
