Henri Facette

Peacefully in hospital on Monday April 14th, 2014 with his family by his side and in his heart. Beloved son of the late Emelard and the late Rosanne (Potvin) Facette. Cherished husband, of 63 years, best friend and soul mate of Lucille (Plouffe) Facette. Adored father of Peter (Michele Jodouin-Facette) and Aline Facette. Devoted grandfather of Chantal and Rebecca (Duran Cheung). Predeceased by his brother Emile (the late Madeline Facette), his sisters Cécile (the late Paul Nantel), Claire (Jerry Wright), Lise (Hubert Chevalier) and Denise. Loving sibling to Jacques (Marjorie), Irène (the late Raymond Larocque), Rollande (James Cosens) and Pierrette (Gerry Wilson). Fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. Per Henri’s wishes there will be no viewing at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be held at St-Sébastien church at 1000 Frances St. in Ottawa on Wednesday April 23rd, 2014 at 10:30am. Interment at Notre Dame cemetery will follow after the service. Also per his wishes, there will be no reception afterwards. A special thank you to the staff of the Montfort hospital for their compassionate caring.
