Ida Baradel-Monette

Ida, aged 50 of Brennan’s Hill Quebec, passed away peacefully at Elizabeth Bruyere on 17 November 2011 with Billy, her devoted husband of 30 years, and family by her side. Left to grieve, her children Barry (Stephanie Holmes), Kyle, Laura and grandson Aiden, mother Norma Baradel (nee Muzzin) and partner Dante D’Angelis, sisters Lilly (Angelo Polesello) and Sophia (Dave Campbell). Ida will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Mona Monette (nee McCrank), sisters and brothers-in-law Frank (Karen Brennan), Doreen, Mark (Cindy Mulvihill) and Erroll (Colleen Sullivan) as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ida left this world for her eternal home where she will join her father Mario Baradel, father-in-law François Monette, brothers-in-law Guy Monette and Doug Ryan , sisters-in-law Kathy Kealey-Monette , Maxine Monette-Ryan and nephew Michael Monette. Since 2010, Ida faced lymphoma with incredible courage, strength and dignity. She received tremendous support from her family, whom she dearly loved and cherished. Ida was an incredible person and will be remembered for her compassion and love for others. Her wish for the future is that no child should suffer with lymphoma cancer. Ida requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CHEO (for lymphoma research), Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre or Holy Cross Church in Fieldville Quebec.

Funeral Mass Monday at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Fieldville Quebec; Interment Parish cemetery.
