Irvin “Swifty” passed away peacefully Thursday, at the age of 87 years.
He will be dearly missed by his special friend Kathryn Helmer, his children Jimmy and Kelly (Dave Pooli).
Proud papa of Seamus (Meleka), Keltie (Marcus), Liam and Colin, great-papa of Mila, Kira and Colter.
Survived by his siblings Jim, Alma (Walter Sullivan), Lorraine (the late Hilton Mahoney), Lionel (Bonnie), Janet (the late Jack Lynch) and Jean (Kevin Forrest) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife Katherine (Kennedy), sons, Shaun and Jeffrey, parents Wilfred and Gladys (nee Kealey) and brothers Alvin and Terry (Brenda).
Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy & Shields Funeral home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club on Wednesday June 14th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday June 15th, 2023 at 11 am at St Patrick Parish, 15 Steeple Hill Cres, Fallowfield.
