A beautiful soul has left our midst. Jack passed away on December 18, 2014 with grace and courage, at the age of 64, in the arms of his beloved wife Suzanne Spénard. Son of John MacDonald and the late Catharine Gillen. Will be missed by daughters Cindy and Isabelle, as well as many siblings. His close bond with his mother-in-law, Doris, brother-in-law, Jamie, sister-in-law, Diane, and Alexandre, the apple of his eye, will be eternal . Jack’s career led him to work for the Coastguard, as a helicopter mechanic, and eventually to Transport Canada where he retired. Many thanks to Dr. Nassim. Jack’s love of music contributed to his gentle manner… “Music is a remedy.” He is now playing his guitar in heaven. A celebration of life will be held in Spring of 2015. In memory of Jack, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
