Jean-Louis Brûlé

It is with great sadness that his family announces his passing on Monday, December 14, 2020 at the age of 75 years at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Son of the late Thomas Brûlé and of the late Jeanne d’Arc Charbonneau. Loving husband of the late Marie-Claire Lafontaine. Cherished father of Nathalie (Oswin Joseph), Marc (Michelle) Brûlé and Lucille (Denis Milliard). Beloved grandfather of Rebecca (Alex Matheson), Zendai, Daniel, Sophie and Isabelle (Christian Mitulla and great grandfather of Mikaël and Jocob. Jean-Louis will be fondly remembered by his many siblings as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 2 – 5 p.m.

In memory of Jean-Louis, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa or to Parkinson’s Canada would be appreciated by his family.

C’est avec tristesse que la famille vous annonce son décès survenu le lundi 14 décembre 2020 à l’âge de 75 ans à l’hôpital Civic d’Ottawa. Il était le fils de feu Thomas Brûlé et de feu Jeanne d’Arc Charbonneau. Il était l’époux bien aimé de feu Marie-Claire Lafontaine. Jean-Louis laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Nathalie (Oswin) Joseph, Marc (Michelle) Brûlé et Lucille (Denis Milliard), ses petits-enfants; Rebecca (Alex Matheson), Zendai, Daniel, Sophie and Isabelle (Christian Mitulla) ainsi que ses arrières petits-fils Mikaël et Jacob. Il laisse également dans le deuil plusieurs frères et soeurs ainsi que de plusieurs neveux, nieces, parents et amis.

La famille accueillera parents et amis ce dimanche 20 décembre 2020 de 14h à 17h à la maison funéraire Racine, Robert et Gauthier, 180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa.

En mémoire de Jean-Louis, des dons peuvent être transmis à la société du Parkinson ou la société de Dementia d’Ottawa.
