John Wayne Larose

Born on October 19, 1946, in Ottawa, Ontario, Wayne lived a full life defined by family and civil service. After graduating from Rideau High School in 1965 he enjoyed a long career working for the City of Ottawa, retiring in 1995. He was a proud member of the Masons for many years and served as a Master.

Wayne is survived by his loving children: Lesley Larose and his wife Karen, Jeffrey Larose and his wife Lisa, and Tara Larose and her husband Drew Dobson, and their mother Rose. He was an incredibly proud grandfather to Braydon, Connor, Allyson, Jacob, Matthew, Emma, Celeste and Jillian.

He will also be dearly missed by his sister Elizabeth Larose, his brother Terry Larose and his wife Mary Jane, and his sister Lynn Dubroy and her husband Ed Jardine, as well as many nephews and nieces. Wayne was predeceased by his parents John and Lois Larose and his brother Brian.

In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, on October 11th a family gathering will take place prior to his remains being placed at the Beechwood Cemetery at 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at Finnigan’s Pub from 11am to 3pm for his family and friends.
