It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Kyle Bastien on August 13, 2013 at the age of 25. He leaves behind his precious daughter Ariana and her mother Centrina Goodspeed. He was the loving son of Debora Lalonde (Luc Chabot) and Luc Bastien (Laurie). Dear brother of Kalla, Krista, Carson and Lidia. He will be remembered by his step sister and step brother Kassandra and Kristafer Chabot.. He will be sadly missed by Grandma Pearl Lalonde, Grandma Laurette Periard, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his guardian grandparents, Raymond Lalonde, Armand Periard and Therese Lalonde. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday August 22, 2013 from 7 to 9p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). A Graveside Service will be held on Friday August 23, 2013 at Beechwood Cemetery 280 Beechwood Ave. at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Ottawa Hospital or the Schizophrenia Society would be greatly appreciated.
