Laurice Haddad

It’s with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of our cherished Laurice, who passed peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the age of 94 surrounded by her beloved family,

Beloved wife of the late Georges Haddad.

Loving mother of Amal (Alfred Harika) and Tony Haddad. Cherished grandmother of Marie (Ghassan Salibi), Roland Harika, Jacynthe and Sabrina Haddad. Loving great-grandmother of Nicole and Kaline Salibi, Anthony Emond Haddad and Ezekiel Bonan Haddad. Dear sister of Layla (late Nicola Haddad); predeceased by Josephine ( late Bagdasar Madjarian), Georgette (late Assad Jarbouh), Samira ( late Kareem Nakhle), Habouba (late Edmond Chahine), Samir (Dunia Hanna), and Maurice (Mounira Haddad).

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Canada and abroad.

Laurice ( em Tony) compassion, strength, generosity and selfless devotion to her family and friends, create a memory that will be remembered and live on eternally in our hearts .

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa.

Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 bank street.
