

We regret to announce the sudden death of Léon Lauzon on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the age of 75. Much loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Claire Lauzon (née Dubeau), his children, Louise Gagnon (Fernand) of Rouyn, Denise Boulianne (Bob), Michel (Danielle) of Kapuskasing, Francine Sullivan (Danny) of Ottawa, cherished pépère of Richard (Chantal), Julie (André), Mireille (Alain), Yannick (Mylaine), Sarah (Eric), Alain (Jessica), Mattieu (Julie), Marc-André (Annabel), Dustin(Sarah) and 13 great-grand-children, brother of Réjean of Mont Tremblant, Thérèse Constantineau of Mascouche, Aline Laflamme of Montreal, Bernard, Claude of St. Jerome and Denise Lachaine of St-Eustache.
Leon enjoyed life to the fullest after a 38 year career with Kap Beverages. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus. His many interest included family, camping, fishing, hunting, music, wooden toy crafts, carpet bowling and devoting as much time as possible with his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kapuskasing Association for Community Living would be greatly appreciated.
