Passed away after a long battle with cancer, on September 11, 2017 at the Montfort Hospital at the age of 74. Daughter of the late Hector Roy and the late Fabiola Bertrand. Beloved wife of the late Gilles Casavant. Adored mother of Jean (Nathalie Carrière) and Francine. Cherished grandmother of Ashley Stewart. Loving sister of Hélène (Lionel) Fournier. She also leaves in sorrow a brother-in-law André Casavant, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by a sister Nicole. Family will receive condolences starting at 10 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Road, Ottawa). In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
