Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of Aline Ducharme for 29 years and loving father of Chantal. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Annette Benoit and his brother Roland. Survived by his brothers Raymond (Young Soon), René (Janice), Gilles and Roland (Mary Ann). The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Scott Laurie, Sylvie Marchand-Alary R.N. and Dr. Edward Fitzgibbon as well as the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre for their excellent and compassionate care given to Louis. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Saturday, December 1, 2012 after 1 pm followed by a celebration of Louis` life in the chapel at 3 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11 am at Église Sacre-Coeur in Sturgeon Fall`s, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Cancer Centre at the Ottawa General Hospital would be appreciated.
