Louise Longtin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise Longtin (née Dupras) on July 10, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on March 27, 1943, in Gracefield, Quebec, Louise was predeceased by her beloved parents, Edmond and Agnès, and her devoted husband, Marcel Longtin, with whom she built a life grounded in love, hard work, and shared dreams.

Louise was a woman who cherished time with friends and family and found great joy in travel and in the connections she made along the way. She and Marcel worked side by side to create a warm and welcoming home, rich in laughter and love.

She leaves behind her cherished daughter Christine and her grandson, Michel (Christienne Tobin), with whom she shared an especially close bond.

She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the deep love she gave to those fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends are invited to gather for condolences at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 1:30 p.m. A reception will take place at 2:30 p.m.

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès paisible de Louise Longtin (née Dupras), survenu le 10 juillet 2025, à l’âge de 82 ans.

Née le 27 mars 1943 à Gracefield, Québec, Louise était la fille bien-aimée de feu Edmond et feu Agnès, et l’épouse dévouée de feu Marcel Longtin, avec qui elle a bâti une vie remplie d’amour, de travail acharné et de rêves partagés.

Louise appréciait profondément les moments passés avec sa famille et ses amis. Elle trouvait une grande joie à voyager et à tisser des liens avec les gens qu’elle rencontrait sur son chemin. Ensemble, Louise et Marcel ont créé un foyer chaleureux et accueillant, rempli de rires et d’amour.

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille adoré Christine ainsi que son petit-fils, Michel (Christienne Tobin), avec qui elle entretenait un lien particulièrement fort.

Elle sera toujours reconnue pour sa chaleur humaine, sa résilience et l’amour profond qu’elle a offert à tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de la connaître.

La famille recevra les condoléances le vendredi 25 juillet 2025 à 12h30 au Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, suivies d’une célébration de sa vie à 13h30. Une réception aura lieu à 14h30.
