Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the age of 97 at the Ottawa Hospital (General Campus).
Loving mother of Gregory and devoted wife, for 49 years, of her late husband Edward.
Lucienne was a proud life long member of the Catholic Women’s League 50+ year activity in the Metro Toronto area. Born in Quebec City Lucienne was a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and, in post World War Two Canada, joined the University of London Ontario as a bilingual secretary. Lucienne finished her professional career as a medical secretary working in Toronto at Edwards medical clinic.
A visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 9 to 10:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, 685 Walkley Road Ottawa, Ontario at 11 am.
Lucienne will travel to Toronto and rejoin Edward in their final resting place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario.
