Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Ada (née Dell'Anna) for 44 years. Loving father of Lino, Tina (Antonio), Kristen-Lisa (Jonathan). Proud Nonno of Sofia, Gianna, Alessia, Matteo and Liliana. Dear brother of Giovanni (Rachel), Maria (late Francesco) and predeceased by his parents Vincenzo Marcantonio and Assunta Palladino and his siblings Norina, Anna (Settimio), Antonio (Nicole), Aquilino (Assunta), Guiseppe (late Lucille). He will be fondly remembered by his extended family the Dell'Anna's, his many nieces and nephews and his great friend the late Matteo Rizzo (Cecile). The family wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Geiger and the staff at AMA and 5 North East at the Ottawa General for their excellent and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm (due to capacity restrictions please call the funeral home 613-737-7900 to schedule a time to visit). Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private funeral service on Saturday, January 15, 2022 by invitation only. The funeral will be available by live stream at 10 am at https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/44500 Entombment will follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
