paisiblement le 28 avril, 2011, à l’âge de quatre-vingt-dix ans. Elle était l’épouse de feu François Moreau. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : France, Louise (Germain), Robert (Ruth), Paul (Cecilia), Carmen (Frank), Roger (Jocelyne) et Nicole ; ses petits enfants : Christine (Neil), Lisa, Julie (Mark), Pierre (Jacynthe), Yves, Natalie (Jens), Karine (Chris), feu Stéphanie, Sébastien, Patrizio, Michel, Émilie (Andrew), Alessandro, Jonathan, Robert, Gregory, Geneviève, Chantal et Martin; et ses arrière-petits-enfants Julien, Amélie, Éric, Adam, Connor, Jessica et Logan.

Madeleine laisse également ses frères et sœurs, soit Ella (feu Penu), Raymond (Carmelle), Paul, Suzanne (feu Ronald), Françoise et Claude (Ella). Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Dr Louis Aubin et Irène Aubin (née Émard), sa fille Marie, sa sœur Marguerite (Gilles), et ses frères Gabriel (Noella), Jean-Pierre (Gloria), Louis (Marguerite) et Alphonse (Monique).

Madeleine a œuvré en milieu scolaire à l’École élémentaire St-Charles et à l’École secondaire Cartier, ainsi qu’en milieu hospitalier à l’Hôpital Saint-Vincent. Pendant plusieurs années, elle a contribué au développement de l’Association culturelle franco-ontarienne de Vanier.

La famille désire remercier le personnel de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa, Campus Général, pour les excellents soins prodigués. Parents et amis sont invités à la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier au 180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa (613-241-3680) le dimanche 1er mai 2011 de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et à compter de 10h le lundi 2 mai suivi des funérailles à 11h dans la chapelle.

It is with great sadness that the Moreau family announces the passing of their mother, Mrs. Madeleine Moreau, peacefully on April 28, 2011, at the age of ninety. Beloved wife of the late François Moreau. She leaves behind her children : France, Louise (Germain), Robert (Ruth), Paul (Cecilia), Carmen (Frank), Roger (Jocelyne) and Nicole, her cherished grandchildren: Christine (Neil), Lisa, Julie (Mark), Pierre (Jacynthe), Yves, Natalie (Jens), Karine (Chris), the late Stéphanie, Sébastien, Patrizio, Michel, Émilie (Andrew), Alessandro, Jonathan, Robert, Gregory, Geneviève, Chantal and Martin, and her great-grandchildren Julien, Amélie, Eric, Adam, Connor, Jessica and Logan.

Madeleine also leaves her brothers and sisters, Ella (late Penu), Raymond (Carmelle), Paul, Suzanne (late Ronald), Françoise and Claude (Ella). She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Louis Aubin and Irène Aubin (nee Emard), her daughter Marie, her sister Marguerite (Gilles) and her brothers Gabriel (Noella), Jean-Pierre (Gloria), Louis (Marguerite) and Alphonse ( Monique).

Madeleine taught at École élémentaire St-Charles and École secondaire Cartier, and worked at Saint-Vincent Hospital. For many years she contributed to the development of the Association culturelle franco-ontarienne de Vanier.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, for it’s compassionate care for their mother. Family and friends are invited to Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home at 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa (613-241-3680) on Sunday May 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. on Monday May 2nd followed by a funeral at 11am in the chapel.
