Madeleine Roy Robert, mother, grand-mother and great-grand mother, teacher, public servant, world traveller and scholar (B.A. 1984, Ottawa U.), passed away on December 22, 2012

Spouse of the late Edmond Robert, mother of Sylvie, Georges (Lyne Gauthier), Daniel (Hélène Denis), Maxine (Serge Bédard) and Denis (Perle Vandette). Grand-mother of Stéphane, Julie, Alain, Martin Robert and of Rachelle and Sarah Bédard as well as great-grand mother to Simon, Théodore, Olivier and Emmeric.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, 1750 Russell, Ottawa, Ontario. The family will welcome parents and friends prior and after the service. Her ashes will be laid to rest at the Beaumont cemetery (County of Bellechasse, Quebec), followed by a celebration of her life at Saint-Michel de Bellechasse.

Madeleine Roy Robert, mère, grand-mère, arrière grand-mère, éducatrice, fonctionnaire, citoyenne du monde et universitaire (B.A. 1984 U. d'Ottawa), est décédée le 22 décembre 2012

Épouse de feu Edmond Robert, mère de Sylvie, Georges (Lyne Gauthier), Daniel (Hélène Denis), Maxine (Serge Bédard) et Denis (Perle Vandette). Grand-mère de Stéphane, Julie, Alain, Martin Robert et de Rachelle et Sarah Bédard ainsi qu'arrière grand-mère de Simon, Théodore, Olivier et Emmeric.

Une commémoration aura lieu à une date ultérieure au Centre de santé Perley et Rideau pour anciens combattants, situé au 1750 Russell, Ottawa, Ontario. La famille recevra les parents et amis avant et après la cérémonie. Les cendres seront déposées au cimetière de Beaumont (Comté de Bellechasse, Québec), suivi par une célébration de sa vie à Saint-Michel de Bellechasse.
