Margaret “Marg” Teresa (Downey) Quinn

Quite sure there will be a line up waiting for a piece of one of her pies, especially apple & butterscotch, trusting she has time to bake between all the euchre games!

Daughter of the late Vernie and Vera Downey. Cherished wife of the late Mike Quinn (d. 2008). Devoted and Loving Mother of the late Phil (Cathy), Neil (Debbie), Allan, Glenn (Joan McKenna), Sheila Smith (late Brian), Sharon Guindon (Mark) and predeceased by infant daughter Mary Catherine.

Proud Grandmother of 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Dear sister of Viola Turner (late Allan), Leo (Evangeline), the late Jim (late Edna), late Anna Burns (late Joe), late Linus (Madeline), late Loretta McGuire (late Keith), late Oswald (Joan), late Bev Lefurgy and sister-in-law Joanne Quinn (late Carl). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5338 Bank St, Ottawa, ON. Celebration of Life to follow in the Church Reception Centre.

If desired donations may be made to Our Lady of the Visitation Restoration Fund or the Winchester Hospital Foundation.
