I had the pleasure of working with Marie years ago at Steak & Burger. She was always the most upbeat non judgemental, fun person to be around. We shared many happy moments of life and laughter. We had lost touch until I ran into her Thrifting as she loved to do and it was like we had never missed a beat! So sorry to hear of her passing, my thoughts and Prayers go out to Mel, Brayden and Brian and wish you comfort and precious memories as you remember a life well lived.

Marie was a caring and kind person who I had the pleasure of getting to know through our weekly card games.

Her gestures of generosity and her kind heart were appreciated by everyone who knew her and I was lucky enough to be one of them.
We will miss you Marie, rest in peace.

Marie and I met when I called her to set up appointments for rides to my medical appointments. She made me laugh and enjoy these outings even when my outcomes were not good. We got to be great friends. I was upset when I learned of her medical problem with cancer. But she was so bubbly even going through all that she went through. I was wondering why I had not seen her funny posts on Facebook nor saw her on messenger. I am shocked but I know Marie you are in a happy place now and probably have the angels playing cards . My sweet friend, I shall miss your laugh and your beautiful smile.

Friends since 1987 on Meadowbrook Road when you offered me a beer on moving day. It's been an incredible journey of friendship with lots of laughs and many tears too. We shared many crazy adventures and I will cherish those memories. Will miss you dear Marie.

Will always remember my sweet friend Marie for her wonderful sense of humour and her beautiful smile, as we shared many movie dates together on "Cheap Tuesdays", with special snacks in Marie's knapsack. Wonderful memories as well at the lake, playing cards and sharing many laughs. Hope the movie line-up in heaven is exactly what you would like, my friend. My heartfelt condolences to Melanie & Andrew, Brayden & Tanya, Sylvie, Brian and all the sweet grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

My fondest memories of Marie where watching her with her grandkids. She was a great Nana! And she was always ready to win a game of any kind! :)
I will think of her often with a smile 😊!
