Marlene Manion

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 79. Dearly loved sister of Kathleen Rita Shaw (the late Leo). Predeceased by her parents Michael Manion and Ellen (nee Duffy), sisters Mary Leonardo (the late Bob), Alice Leonardo (the late Alfred), Aileen Manion and brothers James Manion (the late Edna) and John Manion (the late Margaret). Survived by her special friend Cammy, many other friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Marlene was a Dame in the Order of St. Gregory the Great, a long-time member of St. Clement’s Choir and served very actively at the church for many years. She had a long career with the Federal Public Service and enjoyed cooking, jamming, gardening and her dog Beau. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Monday, August 20 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 21 at 10 am in St. Clement’s Church, 528 Old St. Patrick Street. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
