It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of May Sheard-Ross (nee Greenbank) on Feb. 18, 2023. May was the daughter of Archie and Lily Greenbank and had 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 nephews and 4 nieces.
She was born May 18, 1930 in the County of Dewsbury, England. May married first husband Derek Sheard but moved to Canada in her early 20's when the marriage failed. She worked for many years at the RL Crain.
Later in life she reconnected with an old friend and eventually married Clifford Ross. Together they loved to travel the world in their sailboat and at one time had residences in Tunisia, Florida and Ottawa. May's ashes will be interred in a graveside service along with her husband Cliff at Beechwood Cemetary in Ottawa on July 31, 2023 at 11am.
