It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mouna Wanisse Daou on Monday, February 24, 2025. Beloved wife of the Late Joseph Daou. Loving Mother of Rita (Elias Merheb), Najib (Carole), Hanna (Eliane), Antoinette (Nick Mikhael), and Georges (Gabriella). Proud Taita of Aboud and Adam Merheb; Joseph, Anthony, Samantha, George, Michelle, Joseph, Stephany, Melany, Sharel and Charbel Daou; Mona, John and George Mikhael.
The family will receive relatives and friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. . A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
