Richard Eugène Brousseau

C’est avec grand regret que nous annonçons le décès de Monsieur Richard Brousseau. Il nous a quitté paisiblement le 19 mars 2026 à l’âge de 72ans. Originaire d’Ottawa, il était le fils de feu Adrien Brousseau et de feu Pierrette Joly. Il était le conjoint bien aimé de Monique Alberti et le père veillant de Mathieu et Sophie.

Outre sa conjointe et ses enfants, il quitte dans le deuil ses petits-enfants chéris : Michael, Alexandra, Xavier, Malak, Julianne, Adam, Nova et Skyler. Richard laisse également ses frères Adrien Jr., Michael, Alfred ainsi que ses sœurs Céline et Lise.

Richard fut prédécédé par son frère Pierre.

Une messe funéraire sera célébrée en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario) mercredi le 1 avril 2026 à 10h30. La famille recevra les condoléances dès 10h00.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Brousseau. He left this world peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in Ottawa, he was the son of the late Adrien Brousseau and of the late Pierrette Joly. He was Monique Alberti’s loving spouse and a caring father to Mathieu and Sophie.

Along with his spouse and children, he leaves behind in mourning his beloved grandchildren: Michael, Alexandra, Xavier, Malak, Julianne, Adam, Nova and Skyler. Richard also leaves his brothers Adrien Jr., Michael, Alfred and his sisters Céline and Lise.

He was predeceased by his brother Pierre.

A funeral mass will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario) on Wednesday April 1, 2026, at 10:30am. The family will be receiving condolences as of 10:00am.
