Robert Joseph Fournier

Passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 90 years old. He was the son of the late Henri Fournier and the late Eugénie Michaud and the beloved husband of the late Thérèse Fournier (née Bourguignon). He leaves in sorrow his loving children Denis, Christiane (Mark) and Luc Joseph (Jin). Adored grandfather of Tyler, Laurence, Justin, Winston and Wilhelm. He will also be sorely missed by his brothers Réjean and Claude and his sisters Noëlla, Aline and Hélène, as well as his in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank the Ottawa General Hospital and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for their amazing care provided. A service will be held in the privacy of the immediate family. In memory of Mr. Fournier, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Il était le fils de feu Henri Fournier et de feu Eugénie Michaud et l’époux bien-aimé de feu Thérèse Fournier (née Bourguignon). Il laisse dans le chagrin ses enfants Denis, Christiane (Mark) et Luc Joseph (Jin). Grand-père adoré de Tyler, Laurence, Justin, Winston et Wilhelm. Il laisse dans le deuil ses frères Réjean et Claude et ses sœurs Noëlla, Aline et Hélène, ainsi que ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille désire remercier l’Hôpital Général d'Ottawa et l’Institut de Cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa pour les excellents soins fournis. Un service aura lieu dans l’intimité de la famille immédiate. En mémoire de M. Fournier, des dons à l’Institut de Cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa ou à la Société Canadienne du Cancer seraient grandement appréciés.
