Following a brief illness on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the age of 64. Son of the late John Kovalyk and the late Mary Taman (née Hanchuk). Brother of John Michael, Frank, Linda Norris and Mary Ann Taman. Predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Postlewaite and brother Brian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Saturday, April 12 from 11 am to 12 noon followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Mission or the Elizabeth Bruyère Foundation would be appreciated.
