Roger Girard

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Roger Girard, décédé le 19 janvier 2023 à l’âge de 80 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Nicole (née Alain) ; ses enfants Chantal, Stéphane, Michel (Kerry Liberty) et Charles (Shannon Manderson) ; ses petits-enfants Justin, Matthieu, Annabelle, Chloe, Lily et Calvin ; et sa sœur Bernice ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces.. Il fut précédé par ses parents Georges Émile Girard et Délisca Corneau ; son frère Émile et ses sœurs Jacqueline (Paul Kulig), Kathleen (Gérald Tessier) et Cécile (Randy Ross);

La famille désire remercier le personnel de la Résidence St-Louis pour les bons soins qui lui ont été prodigués.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu en chapelle àla maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180 chemin Montreal, Ottawa ON, le vendredi 27 janvier 2023 à 10h. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9h30.

En mémoire de Roger, des dons à la société de démence seraient grandement appréciés.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Girard on January 19 2023 at the age of 80 years. Loving husband of Nicole (née Alain). He will be sadly missed by his children Chantal, Stéphane, Michel (Kerry Liberty) and Charles (Shannon Manderson) ; his grandchildren Justin, Matthieu, Annabelle, Chloe, Lily and Calvin ; and by his sister Bernice, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Émile Girard and Délisca Corneau ; his brother Émile and his sisters Jacqueline (Paul Kulig), Kathleen (Gérald Tessier) and Cécile (Randy Ross).

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Résidence St-Louis for the wonderful care given to Roger.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home at 10 am on Friday January 27 2023. The family will receive condolences from 9:30 am until service time.

In memory of Roger, memorial donations to the Dementia Society would be appreciated by the family.
