Suddenly, at his residence on December 24, 2011 at the age of 69. Ron umpired his final inning and joined his late wife Linda. Beloved father to Tracy Hunter (Martin) and Julie Dubeau (Jay). Cherished Grandfather to Arielle, Cloe, Cora, Megan, Ryan and Godfather to Kendra Danforth. His sense of humour will be missed by family and friends. Please join us on Friday, December 30 at 2 p.m. for a celebration of Ron’s life at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road. Family will be welcoming visitors at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Diabetes Society would be appreciated.
