Passed away after a long illness, on February 12, 2012 at the Civic Hospital, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Betty Leonard. Dear father of John (Glenda), Claudette (Ron), Richard (Rhoda) and Michel (Rick). Loving grandfather of Jesse (Michelle) and Richard (Jessie-Lynn). Adored great grandfather of Hailey, Evan and Riley. Dear brother of Adrien and Raymond. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, on February 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family will be present to receive condolences at 1:30 p.m. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Civic Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated.
