With heavy hearts we announce that on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 this caring beautiful woman quietly slipped away surrounded by family and loved ones. Always remembered and forever loved by husband Clayton, her sons Dale (Nicole) and Darrin (Rosemarie), predeceased by her son Barry and daughter Tracy. Loving grandmother to Brittany and Chad Webb, and Tiana Lisle. Verna was born and raised in Newfoundland, the oldest of nine children, leaving behind brothers, sisters and extended family. A loving wife for 53 years, an amazing mother and caring friend. Her family meant the world to her, and she loved them to the fullest. Now the Lord has called her home where she will be reunited with her family there. She will be sorely missed, never forgotten and forever loved.
