Passed away on September 30, 2013 at the age of 70. Daughter of the late Edmond Richer and the late Rosa Bussière and the loving wife of the late Maurice Delaney. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Karen (Peter Hopman), Debbi, Nancy (Luc Ferland) and Johanne (Stéphane Lalande). Cherished grandmother of Ashley Lalande. She also leaves her sister Jo-Anne Blondeau, many nephews, nieces and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Montfort Hospital 6th Floor, especially Louise, Mariesol and "Big". There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday October 8th 2013, at 10:30a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). In Memory of Mrs. Delaney, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Mission of Ottawa would be appreciated.
