Tatay, I miss you and you will always be forever on my heart and thinking of you. I will always talk about your past and how good to be around you as a father and a friend. I love you and will see you again, your son Ariel .

Ka Wes will be sadly missed, but will be remembered with fondness and joy. He and Ka Adoring gave me life lessons about family, spousal love, respect for one another, and a reminder that even if you're a Canadian, the wonderful Filipino traits and values should prevail.

His time with PCC was a wonderful experience.  He supported all the causes to ensure that all our hard work are for nothing.  His presence, along with Ka Adoring are gentle reminders why I love to be a Filipino-Canadian.

I thank God that he did not suffer and that Ka Adoring was on his side.

Dear Ka Doring,
Noly and I are very sad to learn upon arriving back from our trip that 
Mang Wes has passed on and we regret that we were not able to visit him to bid him our last goodbye and to share your sad moments. We have always held Mang Wes in our highest esteem,admiration, and fondness for his endearing and respectful qualities.He was like a dear father to all of us in the community always present and supportive of the community endeavors. He always had a kind word wherever we met him.He always saw something beautiful in our presence and actions.And you Ka Doring had been a shining light that provided so much love and strength.You were an an inspiring couple to all of us.
May this deeply felt tribute be our way to honor Mang Wes for the gifts of life and love that he embodied.We are fortunate to have known him and feel enriched to have enjoyed his lively presence in the community for many many years.
In lieu of our visit, we will offer our intentions for him this Sunday November 21 at the twelve o clock Filipino mass in Assumption Church

The world became less brighter the day Ka Wes passed on. The Filipino community in Ottawa lost a good leader and mentor, a wonderful interlocutor and a dear friend. Ka Doring and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tatay Wes will always be remembered as a very special person, dedicated community leader, warm, honest and spoke his mind with passion and from the heart especially when it comes to our community issues.

I enjoyed working with him during his term with the Philippine Centre Canada.  He will be greatly missed.

Nanay Adoring our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.  May your family find comfort in knowing that God's love will always be with you along with the support of your friends, relatives and the community. Our sincere condolences.

I remember Uncle Wes as the strong and very warm peron who carried me when I was around 5 years old on his shoulders on our way to their house in the province. Such fond memories of Uncle.

For almost four(4) months, Kuyang were with me, my children & my grandchildren in our house here in Cabanatuan City, Philippines in year 2000. He stood as my father & brother during those times Kuyang spent his vacation here. We won't forget those days we eat together, laughing & sharing our experiences, reminiscing our "golden years" with my late parents (Atty. & Mrs. Carlos Macapagal Ferrer). I will treasure those days with Kuyang & we will surely miss him. May you have a peaceful journey to Our Creator, Kuya Wencing. We love you!!!

One very very wonderful person not only in the Filipino community but also in other cultural group will be greatly missed. He is physically gone but his gentleness, his kindness, his generosity and many excellent qualities will remain in our hearts.  Tatay Wes was once one of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Centre Canada.  His bright ideas and suggestions were always honored and appreciated.
