It is with great sadness that the Simpson family announces the passing of William Simpson on May 1, 2025, at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Robert Simpson and Linda St-Louis, and the beloved husband of Jeanne Franche.
William leaves in sorrow his children, David Simpson and Brigitte Leveille; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Tristan; and his siblings, Robert, Laurence, Alexander, Allen, Jimmy, Nelson, Raymond, Danny, Bernard, Phyllis, and Rosemary. He was predeceased by two sisters and nine brothers.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Renfrew Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
Visitations will be held on May 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa. A funeral service will follow on May 8, 2025, at 11:30 AM at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 320 Olmstead Street, Ottawa.
