Angel L. Diaz

Angel Luna Diaz, 83, of Ybor City, Florida died February 14th 2017. Son of Jose and Cora Diaz, loving husband of Feliza Diaz and brother of Alicia, Joe, and Al, passed away peacefully at his home in Oxnard, California after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, children, and siblings: Feliza, Aj, Diana, Monique, April, Nikki, Mary Grace, Marlon, Mark, Michael, Joanne, his beloved dog, Kalden, and many more family members who live around the world.

Angel was a Ventura County resident for 43 years. He worked as a plumber, metal forger and safety manager, and entrepreneur who owned multiple businesses. He loved cooking, going to the movies, watching football, sharing stories, and playing with his dog, Kalden. He especially enjoyed spending time with extended family and relatives in the Philippines.

Caring, generous, and determined. These are the words that most would use to describe him. He was a robust man with a resounding voice, but had a soft heart who pushed others to their full potential. Although he had many successful endeavors, he remained humble throughout his life and always felt compelled to help others. Angel’s compassion and countless sacrifices improved numerous lives and ensured better opportunities for future generations. His legacy will live on in the families and friends affected by his generosity. He will be deeply missed by all.

Services will be held Thursday, 2/16 and Friday morning 2/17 at Funeraria del angel Conrad -Carroll. Funeral Mass to follow at Mary Star of the Sea Church Friday, 2/17 from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
