Eduardo was born on January 5, 1956 in a small municipality known as Noveta, located within the province of Cavite, Philippines. As the eldest child of six, Eduardo was kind hearted and took on the role of a caretaker at a young age, always dedicated to looking after his parents and siblings, ensuring their well-being and providing support in any way he could. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture and eventually migrated from the Philippines to begin a new chapter in his life. For a time, he worked in Saudi Arabia then later settled in the States. He met his wife, Eva Isidoro, in 1991 and they later married in 2001. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, born in 1997 and 1999.
Eduardo was pure hearted, devoted to providing for his family, and only desired the happiness of others. As a migrant from the Philippines, he made so many sacrifices for his family, which they are all so eternally grateful for. Beyond his family, he was deeply involved in the community and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Eduardo was a God-fearing, God-loving person and was motivated and driven by his Faith.
Some of our favorite memories of him are how much he loved listening to Rock and Roll. On the weekends, he would play his favorite classic hits on the radio while he tended his garden. He grew all sorts of things -- from tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries -- and loved to share his overflowing abundance and blessings with others. During Eduardo’s retirement, he loved going on walks at the beach or along the strawberry fields next to his house, fishing at the local pier, or attending local music and food festivals with family and friends. Eduardo loved capturing his experiences on video and sharing them with close ones online. Another of our fondest memories of him was his Canon camera. He loved capturing precious moments of his children, wife, family, and friends. It is through him that all his loved ones will be able to relive those moments and cherish these sweet memories. Eduardo was the type of person who expressed his love through acts of service and gift giving, especially with food. He always made sure that everyone’s tummies were full, that his family never went hungry, and wanted to share his blessings with everyone he could reach.
Eduardo had so much left he wanted to do. He was active, healthy, strong, and so loved by those around him. He left us too soon. Eduardo is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years Eva Isidoro and his two daughters, Joshmyn and Jullianne De La Cruz.
